Gay Tour To Brazil The Place Of Contrasts
February 8th, 2010 | by admin |When it comes to gay travel, few people think of Latin America as an alternative. Europe or Canada might spring to mind first. But even in cultures know for machismo, there are rubies to be found for the gay traveler.
A gay vacation to Brazil is easily managed when you make use of gay tour and travel partners. It is a very popular vacation destination for tourists of all sexual persuasions, form all over the world. Not only is this country as “free ‘n easy” as it gets it is also the largest of all South American Countries, the only two countries on the continent it does not share borders with are Chile and Ecuador.
This country of many contrasts brings to mind marvelous images of Sugar Loaf, Rio de Janeiro, beaches, mountains, cities, slums, statues of Christ, the Amazon jungle, Carnival and more. If you should happen to choose it as a vacation destination try not to miss a trip to the borders of Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay, because this is where you will find Faz de Iguazu.
There is so much on offer for the gay traveler or any other type of traveler. The people of this country are fantastic and the tourism infrastructure is second to none. Although the bright lights of the big city and close location of slums is a draw card for crime, traveling, particularly with a tour group is quite safe. Carnival time is fantastic, but travel is much more expensive at that time and it is the hottest time of the year.
If you have the opportunity to travel to this wonderful country, the best time to go is for carnival, if you are looking for a spectacular time. Two things you have to consider however is, when Carnival takes place it is the hottest time of the year in Brazil and it is also the most expensive.
It does not matter where you choose to go, you will not be disappointed in Brazil. Brasilia is and architectural wonder, but as far as I am concerned, this is the only thing it has going for it, and San Paulo has even less. But I am biased and it is because the rest of the country has so much on offer.
A bus trip to the famous town of Parati, is a real adventure, getting there is part of the fun, and this is the case with many of the best spots in Brazil. And if you are visiting the south, head for Santa Caterina and Praia do Pinho, this beach is the first official nudist beach.
