5 tips focusing on the music function and web browsing on the iPhone. More information on making the best use of the phone.

By Matt Chang

Listening to music and surfing on the web are two of the main cool features of the iPhone. Here are a few tips you can put to use in getting more out of, and personalizing your preferences to have your iPhone work for you. Let’’s get going.

1. Recreate some of the iPod’’s audio controls

If you listen to an audio book on an iPod, you probably know that, ever since the fourth-generation iPod’’s release, you can alter the playback speed to make it go faster or slower as your preferences dictate. This feature is also available on the iPhone. Just tap Settings and then the iPod option; tap the Audiobook Speed entry and in the resulting screen, tap to choose among Slower, Normal, or Faster.

In fact, that’’s just one iPod feature that also appears on the iPhone. You can also use the Settings screen to turn on Sound Check (the feature that makes volume more consistent from one track to another) and change the EQ with 22 included equalization presets. Basically, what ever you can do with your iPod you can do with your iPhone.

2. Change your iPod icons

By default, the icons on the bottom of the iPod screen are Playlists, Artists, Songs, Videos, and More. You can change those first four, just as you would the commands that appear on an iPod’’s main screen. Simply tap the More icon and, in the More screen, tap the Edit button at the top-left of the screen. A Configure screen will wipe up from the bottom and display icons for Albums, Podcasts, Audiobooks, Genres, Composers, Compilations, Playlists, Artists, Songs, and Videos. To substitute one of these icons for one that appears at the bottom of the screen, just tap and hold on an icon and drag it over the icon you want to replace. Tap Done when you'’re done.

3. Syncing notes with the iPhone

One of the major limitations to the iPhone’’s Notes app is that you can'’t sync it with data from any application on your Mac. There’’s a work-around, however-each contact has a notes field. So create a fake contact and paste any info you'’d like to keep with you in the notes field for that contact in Address Book. One sync later, and all that info will be at your fingertips. Just remember that the notes are located in the fake contact. A good idea is to name a contact in a way that it reminds you the subject matter of the notes.

4. Get a bigger keyboard for Web browsing

Like any other iPhone function requiring data entry, tapping Safari’’s address bar summons an on-screen keyboard. However, if you rotate the iPhone horizontally before tapping the address bar, the Safari window will switch to horizontal mode; then, when you then tap the address bar, the onscreen keyboard also appears horizontally. More important, it will also be much larger than the standard vertical keyboard, making data entry a little easier. By the way, Safari is currently the only iPhone application in which this horizontal keyboard appears. (Also worth noting: If you summon the keyboard before rotating your iPhone, then Safari won'’t rotate.)

Rotating your iPhone horizontally before summoning the onscreen keyboard produces this horizontal-and much easier to use-keyboard.

5. Find out where those links go

When in Safari, holding your fingertip down on a link instead of tapping it produces an information balloon that displays the underlying URL. The same thing happens in Mail when you hold a link, which makes this tip much more useful. Now when those “account update” e-mails appear, you can press and hold on the link to find out if you'’re really going to be taken to the site the e-mail claims. The feature is very similar to some of the text Link ads on the Internet. Have you ever had the situation where you hovered your pointer over the anchored text link and an image popped up to show you a snapshot of the site on the other side of that link? Basically that’’s the same thing.

So what are you waiting for? Get started now and squeeze every bit out of your iPhone.

Reverse Phone Search Services are gaining widespread popularity because they are an quick and easy way to find out the identity of the person behind a call. You may be receiving prank calls or blatant harassment. These services can help.

By Victor Silvia

You need to find out who a phone number belongs to. You may be receiving unwanted phone calls, prank calls, or just need to look up the address to a certain phone number. Luckily, you can use a cell phone number finder to solve this problem.

There are a few quick and easy things you can do in the beginning to match a phone number to a person

1.	Call the person up- Remember that the purpose of the call is to flesh out who the phone number belongs to, so make sure to conceal your identity. You could also have someone else make the call for you. You can also call from a pay phone if you don'’t want to risk have the same problems happen to the person helping you.
2.	Google it- Use an online search engine like Google, MSN, or Yahoo to help you with your search. This can help you trace phone numbers from telemarketers or businesses that use mass calling systems, however, it is not particularly useful if you want to locate a cell phone owner.
3.	Free Phone Directories- You can also trace cell phone numbers by using a directory like the Whitepages, 411, or Anywho. These are basically online Whitebooks that will help you trace phone numbers from landlines and home phones.
4.	Paid Membership Directories- If you want to run a cell phone number search, another option is to subscribe to a cell phone directory. For a fee you can look up all the numbers in a cell phone directory. I would not recommend this method because most people need to subscribe to more than one directory to find the number, making it a costly and time consuming alternative.
5.	Reverse cell phone number finder- This is your best option. For a small fee, you can submit a phone number to the reverse cell phone number finder and a report will come back showing you the name, address, phone connection status, and carrier information of the person. Their databases are much more comprehensive than you other online options.

I would suggest that you try the first three alternatives because they are free, quick, and easy. But chances are, if you have stumbled across this page you have exhausted those options. You best option now is to use a reverse cell phone number finder. They are quick and easy, and they search both landlines and cell phone numbers. Goodluck with your search!

The research done about the harm and danger of electromagnetic filed radiation is an ongoing science experiment. However, there is some more recent news that parents should be aware of. It involves our children.

By Paul Fitzgerald

The research done about the harm and danger of electromagnetic field radiation is an ongoing science experiment. However, there is some more recent news that parents should be aware of. It involves our children.

How many of us are talking on our cell phone to a friend or family member, when our child asks if they can use it? On a daily basis it happens to just about every parent. What is our initial reaction? Of course we let them use it to say hello! Perhaps we should think twice before handing over the cell phone to our little ones.

Recent research has found that cell phone electromagnetic radiation may effect children more than adults. Why is this true? This is true because, their bodies are very much still developing. We know that babies and young children have that soft, delicate spot on their head that needs extra caution. Children of all ages are still developing their skull as well. This fact, make electromagnetic rays more damaging to them. These harmful rays can effect children at a faster pace than adults. These rays can effect other body growth as well. It may result in a child having thinner bones, thinner skin, as well as low blood cell count.

Another recent discovery in Toronto was that the area you live in may effect your health. Living in close proximity to a cell phone receiving tower is also dangerous to your health. These particular electromagnetic rays can effect many parts of your body at once.

Women expecting should also be cautious. Studies have shown that a certain amount of cell phone use while pregnant may effect the child. There have been increased behavioral problems linked with women that used a certain estimated cell phone time during pregnancy.

Though study and research is always going on, there has not been any link to brain function. Children that used a cell phone compared to children who have not had no difference in brain activity. Research is still not solid on any level of harmful electromagnetic radiation. The verdict is still out!

Even though the definite verdict is not out, we still need to be aware and take precaution. This should be done for our children as well as ourselves. The ban of cell phone use in schools is a result of this study. Make sure you monitor your childs'’ cell phone use. Studies show that children are much more likely to use the cell phone longer than other ages. Also, opt for a hands-free, air tube set. Another aspect to watch is the cell phones battery. Try not to use it when the battery is low. When it is low, it is going to pull more emf energy to reach a signal or connection. All in all, safe practices are recommended for daily cell phone use. Help lower your risk of illness from harmful emf rays. Our children are the most important thing in our lives. Keep them safe.

Are you receiving unwanted phone calls and need to know who is behind those calls? For many people, receiving prank calls or unknown calls can be incredibly unsettling.

Luckily, there are a few quick and easy options that will allow you to find the exact identity of those people. Here are 5 strategies that will help you find whose behind those calls.

1.	Google- Google is a powerful tool in identifying telemarketers and businesses. I'’ve used search engines on many occasions, and each time I found out that other people had experienced the same calls from the exact same numbers. If the search turns up a telemarketer, all you need to do is call them once with a stern warning. More often than not this will completely stop the phone calls coming from that number.

2.	Free Phone Directories- These are like phone books. The Whitepages, Anywho, and 411 all have websites that let you type in the phone number. This is a good option if you want to turn up home phones or landlines. They do not bring up cell phone numbers however.

3.	Paid Phone Directories- I'’ve used these in the past, but with very little success. You basically pay for a membership and you get access to a cell phone directory. I'’ve found that these directories are poorly updated and I'’ve had problems finding phone numbers.

4.	Reverse Phone Number Tracker- This is your best option. You type in a phone number and you get an instant report showing the name, address, provider, and connection status of the phone number. It helps you identify both landlines and cell phones.

Another thing you can do, if you are bold enough, is to call the number yourself or have someone else call the number. Make sure you keep your identity private. If you do enlist the help of another person, make sure they conceal their number. The last thing you want to do is to unload the unwanted phone calls on that person. Consider calling from a pay phone.

As a final tip, I would be very wary of any online service that offers free phone searches. You wouldn'’t want to identify the wrong person. These services are usually scams.

I'’d suggest that you try the first two options if you have no clue as to the source of the phone calls. Chances are, if you have reached this page, you probably exhausted those options and are looking to skip right to the reverse phone number tracker.

Reverse Phone Search Services are gaining widespread popularity because they are an quick and easy way to find out the identity of the person behind a call. You may be receiving prank calls or blatant harassment, here are 5 easy strategies to find out who is behind those calls.

By Victor Silvia

For seniors and women living alone, receiving unwanted phone calls or prank calls can be particularly unsettling. You have received a mysterious phone call on your phone or on a spouse’’s phone. You may be asking whose phone number is this? There are a few quick and easy strategies at your fingertips. I would recommend that you use a reverse phone lookup service if you want to ensure results and receive a comprehensive report. You can also do these very easy things.

The first thing that you can do is to call the number up. You can call the number yourself or have someone else call the number. Make sure than you hide your identity and call from a undisclosed phone number. Remember, the purpose of the call is to trace the phone numbers owner.

Another thing you can do is run a simple search engine search. Type the phone number into a search engine like Google, MSN, or Yahoo. This is a very useful strategy in finding a phone numbers that belong to businesses or telemarketers. It is not particularly helpful in helping you identify cell phone users however.

You can also look up a cell phone number on a free phone directory site like Anywho, 411, or the Whitepages. It would be basically the same thing as looking up a phone number in your physical Whitepages Book, but the service is national which is a good thing.

Your other option is to use a paid phone directory service. For a fee you can look up any cell phone number in their directory. If you are sure that the phone number comes from a cell phone then this is an OK option. I would warn you that these sites are usually incomplete. They have to wait for the carriers to give them information and are usually poorly updated.

The best option in my opinion is to use a reverse cell phone search. You simply type the phone number into the site and you instantly receive a report that shows you who a phone number belongs to, their address, phone carrier, and connection status. They are incredibly quick and their database is updated more quickly than other of your online options.

You should try the first 2 options if you are completely clueless as to here the phone call came from. If you have a suspicion of who the person is, then I'’d go for the paid phone directory or reverse phone search, to save you time. The reverse phone searches usually run you less than ten dollars for a single report.

Reverse Cell Phone Searches are a very quick and reliable way to dig up information on a phone number that you have in your hands. Here are 5 Easy Steps to find out who a phone number belongs to.

By Victor Silvia

Are you receiving unwanted calls? The calls could be prank calls or even blatant harassment. You have the phone number but need to find out who the phone number belongs to.

Luckily, there are a few quick and easy strategies to find out who a phone number belongs to.

1.	Google Search- One of the first things you can do is to type the phone number into an online search engine like Google, Yahoo, or MSN. These searches are very useful in identifying businesses and telemarketers who use mass phone systems. Many other people online report receiving the same phone calls. I'’ve received phone calls in the past that I'’ve discovered were telemarketers by searching google. If you are getting phone calls from telemarketers then one call is often enough to stop future phone calls. They do not receive many return calls.
2.	Free Phone Directory- This is basically the online version of your White Pages Book. Whitpages, Anywho, and 411 all have sites that will help you in finding landline and listed home phones.
3.	Paid Cell Phone Directories- if you are certain the phone number, a good option in tracking a cell phone user is to use these membership sites. For a fee you are granted access to a cell phone directory that contains millions of numbers. The problem is most of these services are incomplete and poorly updated. This means that you have to subscribe to more than one site to trace phone numbers.
4.	Reverse Phone Number Lookup- This is your best option. You can find both landline and cell phone users. You simply type in the phone number and a report comes back showing who a phone number belongs to, their address, and other information. If you want to take it a step further, you can run a background check on these people. It’’s amazing the information that you can dig up.

If all that fails, you can still call up the number yourself or have someone else call up the phone number. Make sure that you hide your identity. Remember, the purpose of the phone call is to flesh out the person behind the phone call so make it as inconspicuous as possible.

The quickest and easiest option by far is to use a reverse phone search. You should try the first 2 options if you are completely clueless of the identity. If you have a feeling you know who it is and want to confirm the identity then use the reverse phone number lookup.

Happy Searching!

A look at the development of the walkie talkie, from military uses, to more modern uses such as law enforcement, security and as children''s toys.

By Thomas Pretty

The walkie talkie, also known as the handheld transceiver has a rich history and has been instrumental in developments in the military sphere. Fundamentally they are a hand held way to communicate with anyone else who has a similar device. Their history can be traced to the Canadian government who during the Second World War designed the device in order that military operatives had a ready form of communication for operational activities.

The first walkie talkie device was the Motorola SCR-300. First being released in 1940 it was not as handheld as modern variants; at this time the smallest devices still required the user to carry a backpack. However development occurred quickly and in the latter stages of the war a handheld device was released being labelled the ‘’handie talkie'’ by troops. The term walkie talkie, although being used describe all modern devices during the war referred to the backpack model rather than the handheld. The handie variety however suffered in terms of operation because of its reduced size.

Development after the war was rapid with improvements to both range and size evident amongst the allied nations. However the walkie talkie still had its limitations. Due to the power restrictions, normally only a few watts, the communication applications were somewhat poor. Most handheld devices of the post war era, even up to the seventies operated poorly in built up areas where buildings restricted the transmission of radio waves. As a result, military personnel often had to utilise a highly mounted ‘’repeater'’ that vastly improved the range of the device.

Today the walkie talkie is still a frequently used device in the military although modern models are far smaller and usually integrated in the form of headsets and mouthpieces. The devices however are not purely used in the military sphere, applications today include the public sector, outdoor activities and security personnel, in fact anywhere where constant communication is needed, a walkie talkie is regarded a standard piece of equipment. Other developments have improved the durability of the devices making them shockproof and waterproof. Some developments have focussed on the size of the devices; modern electronics have allowed light and small models to enter the market. Additionally, designers have incorporated scrambling devices in order for operatives to have private communications; this type of development has been especially useful in the construction of police radios.

The walkie talkie has also become a popular toy for children. Predominantly these are low power devices that do not require a licence because they operate in a specific frequency range and do not have the power to communicate over long distances. Normally the components used in the construction of these toys are far cheaper than ‘’adult'’ varieties meaning that they are not applicable for uses in business. In addition, while more expensive models have a separate microphone and speaker, the children’’s models use one speaker for both purposes. One use that is not normally present on adult variants is the inclusion of a code button on kid’’s devices. While this is included for the use of Morse code messaging, it is usually used to annoy parents.

The walkie talkie has come from a military background, created to ease the tasks of those in warfare to a device that can be used by children as a toy. This shows that it has entered many different sections of society and has become integral to many different communication requirements. Without the invention of this device, short range communication would not be as easy; the role they play in security, law enforcement and safety procedures cannot be underestimated and most probably form the most important developments the walkie talkie has brought us.

Reverse Phone Search Services are gaining popularity because they are an easy and efficient way to find out who is responsible for a phone call you are receiving. You may be receiving prank calls or blatant harassment. Here are some strategies to find out who is behind the calls.

By Victor Silvia

Are you getting unwanted calls? They may be prank calls or even malicious harassment. For many seniors and women living home alone this can be especially unsettling. What can you do?

Luckily, there are a few quick and easy strategies online for identifying the person behind a call. All you need is a phone number.

1.	Call the Number Yourself- If you are bold enough, you can call the number yourself or have someone else call the number. I advise you to keep your identity concealed and consider calling from a phone booth. Remember, the purpose of the call is to flesh out the identity of the person behind the phone number.

2.	Search Engine- You can also try typing the phone number into a search engine like Google or Yahoo. This is a very useful strategy in finding out whether the phone number is coming from a telemarketer or a business that uses mass phone calling. I have to warn you though, that it is not very useful in finding cell phone numbers.

3.	Phone Directories- You can also type the phone number into a free phone directory like whitepages, anywho, or 411. This is a great strategy for finding landline numbers, but again, useless for cell phone numbers.

4.	Paid Cell Phone Directories- For a fee, you can subscribe to a cell phone directory. The directories are filled entirely with cell phone numbers, so if you know for sure that the phone number came from a cell phone this might be a good option. The problem is these directories are poorly updated and not very comprehensive. Most of the time, you will need to subscribe to more than one directory in order to find a number, making it a time consuming and expensive option.

5.	Reverse Cell Phone Lookup- This is the easiest and quickest solution. For a small fee, you can submit the phone number to this service and they give you an instant report with the name, address, carrier, and phone connection of the person behind the phone number. Another great thing is that the results are 100 percent confidential. If you decide to run more extensive research, many of these services also run background checks on people.

In my opinion, the best option is to use a reverse cell phone lookup. A lot of people find success with the first three strategies, but if you are reading this, chances are you have exhausted those options, so I would suggest a reverse cell phone lookup.

The article describes a DVD player and its features. It also tells the readers about the things to be borne in mind when buying one.

By Victor Epand

A DVD player is an electronic device that plays a disk with the help of reflected laser beam. The picture and the sound quality that we get in DVD is exceptional because the format is digital. It delivers twice the picture quality of VHS. In fact it is so advanced that it can easily compete with movie theatre. This new generation storage device has the capacity to hold video, audio and computer related data. So, with all this powerful features, DVD and DVD player have made a special place in the hearts of film and music enthusiasts.

The year 1997 is important in the history of DVD players because the first consumer DVD player models were available for the first time that year. Just as in any new technology, initially the DVD players were expensive and uncommon. Before the onset of DVD players into the market laser disc was very popular. But with so many eye catching features DVD players have easily replaced them.

With the increased demand for DVD player, the markets are now flooded with loads of brands of DVD players. So, following the rules of the market, the prices of DVD players fell and so demand also increased a lot. As a result, while buying one may get confused. But some essential points will enable to buyer to pick up the correct one.

Before buying a DVD player one should consider the budget. Comparing the prices of various brands one can get a DVD player at a cheaper rate. However, it is advisable to buy players from dealers and authorized distributors because they ensure quality, proper working, operation, maintenance, servicing, and warranty.

As we all know that the DVD ensures digital quality pictures, there could be some differences to the quality in sound and picture in different models. If the TV supports component video input then the required DVD player would be component video output. These kinds of connections have three wire component video cables.

Even the basic DVD players have component video and S-video output. Some other kinds of TV and DVD player connections that are available are S-video connection, SCART leads, audio connectors, and analog RCA connections. So, before buying it is good to check and determine the kind of video and audio input you have in your TV.

A good DVD player should not only provide quality sound and picture but also should be user friendly. A remote with simple layout and visibly labeled functions makes the navigation easy for the user. A well planned remote control will not only make the operation simple but also will help in swift managing of the settings. Sometimes many remotes come with in built lights in them that help to control the player even in darkness.

In order to enjoy the full digital sound it will be worth buying a DVD player with A/V receiver and built in Dolby Digital decoder. This feature will also help in transforming the sound system to surround sound.

Buying a good DVD player is not a mammoth task as it sounds. With a little bit of market research one can easily find a good DVD player if one has basic awareness about the requirements.

This article is about an interesting aspect of DVDs. It discusses the features of an original DVD and helps us to identify one.

By Victor Epand

No duplicate can take the place of an original. Thus, it is always a wise decision to buy everything original. Even in the case of DVDs original DVDs have always proved their worth. Original DVDs may cost more than a duplicate, but the quality of a duplicate DVD will never match the quality of an original one. It is also an immoral act on the part of the consumer who buys the cheap pirated DVDs from the grey market. Buying pirated DVDs is unlawful and likely to bring punishment.

Pirated or duplicate DVDs can never match the quality of an original one. They skip and sometimes it is unable to read in the player. Most of the time the print of these pirated DVDs gets pixilated and the sound has also some disturbances.

Pirated DVD covers are usually made from the poster artwork hanging in cinemas since that is the only image the pirates can use as a source for their cover design. When original DVDs are released, the artwork is often very different from the poster artwork but it may not happen always. One main difference between poster artwork and DVD artwork is that the poster will have all the main credits listed at the bottom, whereas when they design the DVD artwork, that information is always at the back. Some pirates even find an image on the Internet and use that.

If the DVD is a pirated version, it may often only contain the feature film with no added features along with it. Most pirated DVDs tend to have a silver round sticker saying that the disc is DVD9 and a DTS Digital Surround Sound marking along the top edge of the front cover, which is not seen usually on original DVDs.

Even though a pirated DVD produces a good picture, it is considered an immoral act for the consumers. We all must be aware of the fact that an industry thrives on the sale of DVDs. An industry where many people are working to earn their livelihood is facing a strange challenge everyday due to the rapid increase of a pirated illegal industry. So, when we are buying a pirated DVD we are indirectly causing harm to the growth of an industry. It takes millions to produce original DVDs, and the makers expect to get back their investment and profits too. Thus buying pirated DVDs may seriously affect the people associated with this industry.

Pirated DVDs not only cause the greatest harm to the movie or music industry but also gives a strong boost to an illegal pirating industry, which is making millions just by copying the original. To stop piracy the thing we all need to remember is that if the buying stops the piracy will also stop. So, it is our responsibility to create awareness against this illegal piracy. If the consumers stop buying the products from the grey market the growth of this illegal industry will also stop automatically.

This article informs you about the different types of DVD rentals available in the market. IT gives an overview of the pros and cons of DVD rental services and what to look for while choosing the right one.

By Victor Epand

In this modern era of high-end technology, it is almost impossible to find people who prefer going to cinema halls or movie theaters. Though they do exist, they have become so few that we do not even notice them. The reason is the Digital Versatile Disk (or Digital Video Disk). They are things which can give you the pleasure of watching any movie, sitting at home. DVDs are easily available in any music stores and within the budget. But in case you find it unaffordable, there is an option of taking it on rent. For this purpose there are rentals which give these disks for rent at a very cheap rate.

However, the best feature of the DVD rentals is that they are cost effective. Be it any kind of movie, old, classical, comedy, horror or action, they are easily available. Moreover, you can rent more than one disk at a time. In fact, in most of the rentals, there is the facility of membership. Here you can not only enjoy ample discounts but also avoid the late fees. Most of the time there is no due date for the members to return the DVDs.

You can avail these disks from the rentals anytime. Disks can be rented from two types of rentals - one is a DVD shop and the other is an online DVD rental. Both the types can be used, but you must first check how the facilities differ in both the cases. First of all, you must check which is cheaper. Then, look for the kind of offers each is giving. Next check out where you can get more choices. Then find out other things like due dates, late fees, etc.

If you prefer going for the DVD shops that may be near your house or office, then first of all you must have good rapport with the store. Next, you should enquire about its reputation such as what kind of position it holds in the market and whether they ever did any kind of illegal works. Finally, you should be sure of the fact that you are choosing the best and the cheapest option.

Now, the other option is the online rental option. They are basically the cheapest and the best option to get digital video disks. The online process, in fact, provides ample facilities to its members as well as other customers.

The first advantage of online rentals is that unlike going to stores, here you do not move anywhere. Rather, you can order it by sitting at home. The delivery is usually absolutely free. Then, you can order for as many disks as you wish. The choice is unlimited.

Members can avail more facilities with minimum cost. There are no late fees and no particular date for returning the disks. Moreover, most of the rentals offer the option of canceling the membership anytime without paying any cancellation fee.

However, in this case too, your duty is to check the site properly. If possible, try to collect information regarding the online store. This is just to ensure that you are not being cheated.

The electromagnetic fields are present everywhere. They can be caused by natural means or by artificial methods. The natural methods are those produced by the sun, earth, moon and finally our body. The artificial fields are produced by all electrical appliances and cell phones. Radio communication also tends to increase the electromagnetic field. Apparently mobile phone conforms to both of these. They are a major producer of electromagnetic field and are present very close to humans.

The body has a natural rhythm tuned to that of earth’’s electromagnetic field. This can be felt during power failures. The body tends to relax once the source of electricity, around it, is cut off. There is a sense of calmness and serenity in the absence of an electrical appliance. This directly points to the fact that the body is not at ease to the presence of the electrical gadgets. However, life is impossible without electrical appliances. They must be avoided as much as possible in order to protect the health of the body. Similarly, frequent headaches are common to people who are engaged with their cell phones most of the time.

The sun is a constant source of electromagnetic waves. The moon and the space surrounding the earth tend to modify the electromagnetic field of the earth. This causes the field of the earth to be at a constant change throughout the year. The surface and the ionosphere cause the electromagnetic field to bounce from one to another thereby causing pulse of about 0.1 to thirty cycles per second.

The average pulse is that of ten cycles per second and it is referred to as the Rhythm of the Earth. The body has learned to adapt to this invisible electromagnetic field. A very common example is that of female menstruation cycle. It has been found that a particular pineal gland responds in accordance to that of earth’’s electromagnetic field. It controls the moods and sleeping habits of the body. The immunity of the body depends on this gland as well. The brain waves are those produced by the brain for communicating with other organs through the nervous system.

Coincidentally, the relaxed brain generates around 10 cycles per second similar to that of our earth. The waves are reduced during sleep and are escalated when under pressure or excitement. The gland secretes a fluid called melatonin which increases the immunity of the body. Any change in this melatonin would cause severe damage to the body in the form of cancers and tumors.

The body is suited to an electromagnetic field of about 30 cycles per second. However, the external disturbance of over 50 cycles would cause discomfort to both the brain and the body. This is capable of causing several diseases over the period. The tests of these electromagnetic fields over lab animals have proved that they are harmful for the brain and blood.

They also affect the normal functioning of the hormones and also cause cancer, tumor and miscarriages. Several researches and tests have concluded that children living near huge source of electromagnetic fields are prone to disease like leukemia and nerve or lymph cancer. Similar cases have been reported in the case of women who have had miscarriages, birth defects and cancers.

The mobile phones produce about a million cycles per second. They are a source of death for sure. The brain damage reported because of cell phones is increasing every day. People accustomed to cell phone suffer from mood variations and stress. The phones directly affect the pineal glands because of the proximity to the brain.

Mobile phones cannot be disposed off entirely because of these harmful effects. However, steps can be taken to prevent these diseases from becoming a regular pattern. The usage of mobile phones should be decreased at any cost. Researches should be made to make an alternative source of communication which would not be this dangerous.

You may be receiving prank calls or blatant harassment. Here are some quick and easy ways to find out who that person is.

By Victor Silvia

With the progress of technology, it is now very easy and fast to track a cell phone number. You may be getting unwanted phone calls, prank calls, or even blatant harassment. You have the phone number, but do not know the identity of the person behind those phone calls. Luckily, all you need is a phone number and you can easily track a cell phone number back to its owner, to get information such as the name, address, and other information regarding that person.

There are a few easy ways to track a cell phone:

1.	Call the Number- If you are bold enough, you can call the phone number yourself or have someone else call the number. Make sure that you do not give away your identity. The purpose of the call is to flesh out the identity of the person behind those calls, so make it as inconspicuous as possible.
2.	Search Engines- Another option is to type the phone number into a search engine like Yahoo or Google. Although it is useless, for identifying cell phone users, it can help you find out if the phone call was from a telemarketer or a business using mass phone calling.
3.	Free Phone Directories- Free phone directories such as Anywho, 411, or the Whitepages are very useful in identifying landline phone numbers, but again, not very helpful in identifying cell phones users.
4.	Paid Cell Phone Directory- If you know for sure that the phone call is coming from a cell phone, you can subscribe to a cell phone directory. You pay a membership fee and the service gives you access to the database. The problem with these services is that they are often incomplete and poorly updated. You will have to register to more than one directory to find your number, making it a time consuming and costly option.
5.	Reverse Phone Lookup- In my opinion, this is the best option for tracking cell phone numbers. For a small fee, you simply submit a phone number to the reverse cell phone search service. An instant report comes back with the name, address, carrier, and phone connection status of the person.

If you need to find out how to track a cell phone, go through the first 3 steps. Chances are if you have stumbled across this article, you have exhausted those options. Now you can either use a paid cell phone directory or use a reverse lookup. I suggest using the reverse phone lookup.

We have taken it a step further and wrote a review on the top reverse phone searches out there. You can find it below.

There is some rudimentary information regarding digital camera repairing. Read this article to know what it takes for a digital camera repairing.

By Roberto Sedycias

Possessing a high-end and sophisticated gadget like digital camera can be a pride in itself, but repairing it can be daunting. A digital camera is a 100% electronic device with many delicate circuits inside it. Adequate knowledge about the delicate device is essential for the technician for repairing who must handle the device with extra care. It needs specialized testing equipments to diagnosis the very problem. That is, perhaps, the reason why repairing digital camera is expensive.

There are some minor defects in your digital camera that you can fix yourself. Of course, that depends on the type or the model of camera that you are using. Here, another noteworthy thing is you should have precise idea about what exactly is wrong with it.

Things You Can Fix Yourself:

The common problem that can be detected and fixed without much hassle is the digital camera lens. Most of the time it is due to careless handling or improper setting that the lens ceases to function leaving you baffled over the matter. Most of the time, it is due to the improper alignment of the lens. You will encounter system error messages on the LCD. In such circumstances the camera is not able to focus and the result is worse pictures. You can simply realign the lens or reset the zoom barrel guide pins and you will find your digital camera working as usual.

There are some other minor and common problems such as broken battery cover, broken hinges on memory card doors, cracked LCDs, etc. But if you are not sure about the problem, it is wise not to handle it. Rather you can take your digital camera to an authorized repairing center.

However, before visiting any repairing center or technician you must take check certain common things. There may be some minor problems that you can identify yourself such as:

1 - Sometimes, it is very likely that you might have hit the wrong button or have changed the menu for which the device does not work properly.

2 - If the battery of your digital camera is running out of power, it is most likely that the digital cameras will not work. Ensure if thing improves when a fully charged cell is inserted into the digital camera.

3 - Sometimes, it is necessary to reset the camera through the menu or by removing the battery for 24 hours.

4 - The camera may not turn on if the memory card is full.

These common problems can not be really considered as a serious problem for the digital camera. But a novice user of the gadget may find it difficult them troubleshoot.

Selecting Repairing Service Station:

If the small efforts are not enough to fix your camera, visit an authorized service station in stead of asking any ordinary technician. The technician in the service station should have experience of fixing several brands and models of digital camera.

Moreover, both the user and the technician should have the ability to distinguish between marginal repair and quality repair. A little bit of confusion in this regard may cause damage to your precious digital camera.

Each model of digital cameras requires special tools to fix the errors and reliable service centers have these specialized tools and skilled technicians to properly service and safeguard the digital camera. Efficient diagnosis and repairing of digital camera depends largely upon specialized tests, appropriate equipments and expert technician.

The high-end and sophisticated device like digital camera requires a lot of concern and careful handling which is of paramount importance for longevity of the digital camera. However, the repair process of digital camera also needs the same amount of care and attention. You need to have adequate knowledge of handling digital camera to avoid any kind of trouble.

If possible gather information from the Internet about handling and repairing. A digital camera is a valuable possession and worth caring.

The cell phone is the easiest and fastest means of communication today. Undergoing remarkable changes, this device is the best possible media in the world.

By Roberto Sedycias

Cordless phone is a portable phone that gives you the freedom to talk over the phone when you are moving in your house or around the house. Basically, cordless phone works like a standard phone, but it has more advantages in comparison to the standard phone. If we talk about the history, then George Sweigert is said to be the father of the cordless phone. He was awarded with a patent for `full duplex wireless communications apparatus` in 1969. But the first cordless phone came into view in 1980s.

Frequency of initial cordless phones was 27 MHz, but they used to face certain problems like narrow range, inferior sound quality and risk of security breach. Later in 1986, FCC approved for 47 - 49 MHz frequency range and in 1990, 900 MHz frequency range was granted. After that cordless phones became quite popular. In 1994, the first digital cordless phones were launched with a frequency of 900 MHz. FCC granted 2.4 GHz range for the cordless phones in 1994.

A cordless phone has two basic components i.e. base and handset. Regular phone jack is affixed to the base like a standard phone wire connection. It receives the electrical signal for the incoming calls and then transmits that signal to the handset. The handset transfers that signal to the speaker and you hear the sound or voice of the person who is calling. It transmits your voice into signal and sends it back to the base.

The base turns the received signal into an electrical signal and sends it across to the person on the other side via phone line. The whole process performs so rapidly that you hardly face any delay in the transmission of the signals.

The transmission of the signals is based on the duplex frequency which is a combination of the frequency between the handset and the base that allows you to talk on the phone. The base of the cordless phone is plugged into the electricity switch and the handset consists of a rechargeable battery which gets charged when the handset is put on the base.

In order to understand the working of the cordless phone, you need to comprehend the anatomy of the cordless phone in detail. The base is plugged into the telephone jack. It contains phone line interface that is responsible to send and receive signals via phone line. There is a radio that strengthens the signals to and from phone line interface, speaker phone and user controls. The power supply provides low voltage power to the circuits and recharges the battery of the headset.

Besides these components, there are audio amplifiers that enable you to talk hands free, keypads to dial the destination number, LCDs as to display the caller`s identity, LED indicators that enable you to dial the number in dim light or complete darkness and solid state memory that assist in functioning of answering machine and call back facility.

The handset is a wireless device and you can carry it with you wherever you want, within the provided range of the transmitter of the base. It also has a microphone, speaker, dialing keypad and an equipment of a FM radio transmitter and receiver. A buzzer or ringer rings when there is an incoming call. The LCD displays the caller`s identity. The LED lighting enables you to dial the destination number in dim light or in complete darkness. The handset is able to function due to the electrical supply by the rechargeable battery which gets recharged every time when the handset is kept on the base.

There is a variety of models available offering different features in the cordless phones. Initially the cordless phones were quite expensive. But with the ever growing competition, there is a big slash in the prices. Analog cordless phones are less expensive than the digital ones. When you shop for the cordless phone, buy one that meets all you needs. Give security the first preference. Consider the frequency it offers and the battery it contains.

The cell phone is the easiest and fastest means of communication today. Undergoing remarkable changes, this device is the best possible media in the world.

By Roberto Sedycias

The cell phone, also known as the mobile phone, is a portable device for communication. A wide network of stations called cell base stations are instrumental in providing the routing of the calls to its destination. Cell phones are small in size and very handy.

Equipped with various facilities, it is available to people of all classes. The affordable price range and the easy application make it a pleasure to use. Besides communication, they also have various other services programmed in them. They have SMS services, camera, blue tooth, MMS, video, voice recorder, internet services and others.

The process of cell phone communication is rather simple. Connected to several base stations, the cell phone can receive and transmit waves through antennas. Installed atop tall buildings, tower or a pole, in populated areas they are further linked to a network of cabled connections.

From the base stations connected to the network, the signals reach the cell phones and the call is received. The reception and transmission is usually within 8 to 13 kms. Each cell phone has a SIM card. The identity of this card is translated numerically. Every SIM card has its own numbers so that is easily identified. There are various handset manufacturers throughout the world. The leading name among them is Nokia, Samsung, Motorola, Sony, Sony Ericsson, and LG.

There are various features of the mobile phone. Even the simplest of them has the most necessary of services, like the messaging facility, calculators, calendar, call lists, call registers and games. The more advanced ones share internet connection, music downloading facility, infra red, cam cording, video calling, blue tooth facility and a host of other services. High quality games can be played also on line.

The value of the total number of facilities available on some phones, far exceeds the price of the instrument and the charges paid for them. Recent research says that the total worth of the services provided is nearly 40 billion dollars.

In the year 2000, the first ever news service on the cell phone was delivered in Finland. Interestingly, the news service has caught on and demands are increasing for news according to one`s liking. Known as the `on demand` instant information based on personal choice, is fast outdoing the newspaper services. Even television newscast is not as fast as the cell phone availability. The mobility and the far reaching benefits are enjoyed by the journalists` too. Even companies like Monster have started job hunting services through the mobile. Job opportunities and expert advice regarding jobs is also available on the cell phone.

Also called the fourth screen, the mobile phone is part of the media. It is the seventh one besides cinema, newspaper, TV, radio, internet and recordings. Other than news it gives frequent intimations on the various fairs that are held, and the reduction offers made. Horoscopes, latest game scores, lists of restaurants or entertainment spots, hospital, railway and flight information are easily received on the cell phone.

The utility of this device is no longer unknown. The rate of sales growth in India shows that nearly six million people buy cells every month in India. This is the largest growing market in the world. An expected target of 500 million buyers by 2010, does not seem to be impossible.

This article is all about DVDs that are currently not usable because of scratches. It also tells us about the way to repair them and play it on our ROM or DVD player.

By Victor Epand

Imagine you are trying to play your favorite movie Jurassic Park on your DVD player. Suddenly you notice it is not playing. You wonder why it has happened so. Then, you remember your pet dog Toby was playing with it days earlier and made a lot of scratches on it. What you have now got is a scratched DVD.

Another scenario might be this. You visited a local DVD store and bought a couple of used DVDs to play at home. When you reached home and examined it, you were shocked to find out that one had many scratches on the playable part of it.

It might be true that you do not want to see every second of the film you have just bought. It is also true that not all are fond of watching the title and the credit scenes. However, how do you know which parts have remained in working condition?

A number of solutions are there that you can find within your budget. For example, you can buy a DVD repair kit which would contain some tools to make your disk playable on your DVD player or in the DVD-Rom of your computer or gaming console. A DVD repair kit contains a wax-like cleaner and a non-abrasive cloth. Apply 3-4 drops of the wax-like cleaner on the scratched DVD and rub it gently. A couple of minutes later you can softly clean the surface with the cloth provided in the kit.

If you want to prevent your DVDs from being scratched, then try an expensive multi DVD changer. Buy the thing which can change something around 300-400 DVDs at once. Then you can put them into the changer and play it for unlimited times. You would take at least a month to see all the movies. When all your movies are finished, then replace the old ones with new ones.

In this way, you can save many disks from being scratched. However, the investment is a big one for buying this multi disk changer. However, take it as a one-time investment. The investment can act as an insurance protection for your priceless collection.

You can use professional software which retrieves data from your scratched disk. The software scans the scratched DVD and then scans for the unreadable sectors. The data is then recovered and dumped in a fixed disk drive. If the software is efficient and professional then it would have a high percentage of recovery.

You can also go for DVD writing software which copies disk in 1:1 mode. 1:1 means, the data is copied exactly in the disk. The software would make an image from the data from the unreadable sectors. A multipurpose utility like computer can be used to perform this kind of task. The image file would then be copied in the hard disk. Another blank disk will be inserted in the ROM drive and the image file is rewritten on the disk. This would make an exact copy of the scratched DVD.

You can also try this simple trick. Spread some toothpaste on the surface, which has been scratched. Not every disk would respond to this treatment but on some scratched DVDs it works wonders.

The car stereo system is now very common and almost everyone has it in his car. It is not difficult any more to buy one. Yet we need very good knowledge about the features of a good car stereo before we buy it.

The car stereo system has progressed a long way from the old standard AM-FM Radio and Tape Deck combo. The in-vehicle car stereo system today includes DVD video player, television and navigation systems. Along with them, it has an excellent sound quality.

The quality of sound in a car stereo system depends on various factors. It is influenced by the type and quality of the media player system, the type of speakers used, the acoustics of the vehicle and interference from other devices in the car.

However, just as in choosing the right car for you to drive, buying a stereo system for your car can often leave you confused. There are various options in the market that are available to you when buying a stereo system for your car.

You can choose from the in-dash CD player, which is usually combined with the radio tuner and supports WMA and Mp3 files. But those looking for something different can opt for an in-dash CD receiver, which operates with multiple CD and cassette changer. Or else, you can always connect a portable CD player to an existing in-dash audio unit using either a cable and adapter or a bluetooth wireless connection. The choice is simply ours.

However, while choosing a car stereo system, a few things should be taken into consideration. You can verify whether it will fit into the vehicle and if it will put together cosmetically with the dash and the other electronic parts in the car.

Though most decks have standardized forms, they usually fit into most cars, but there are exceptions and so make sure that the deck is suitable for your car. On the other hand, cosmetic integration can be a little more complex, but in many cases it can be easily resolved through customization features since many decks allow you to change the faceplates and color of the display.

After you have chosen the player for your car, you can choose the speaker and the amplifiers. There are various factors involved while choosing the right speakers for your car. It begins with the design or the type of speaker along with technical specifications of fitting and mounting.

The fittings and mountings are selected depending upon where you choose to position the speakers. Car stereo speakers are either top mounted or bottom mounted. Clearance depth is most important when installing new speakers in a non-factory speaker location. So check all of your components carefully before purchase.
